Muhammad Ali Tarakai, son of Muneer Khan representing PK-33 (Swabi-III), is a politician who has served as a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly since 2013. Initially elected on the Awami Jamhuri Ittehad Pakistan (AJIP) ticket, which later merged with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he was re-elected in 2018 from PK-46 (Swabi-IV). As a member of the Parliamentary Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education, he has been a vocal critic of the PTI party leadership, advocating for improved party discipline and accountability.
