I would like to draw the attention of this August House towards a matter of urgent public importance that in 2007 the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through a Notification had exempted the affectees of Tarbela Dam residing at Khalabat Town Ship, District Haripur from the payment of drinking water charges. Now it has come to our notice that the Government has withdrawn the notification. The people of the area have suffered allot and this order is causing grievances.
