ttiq ur Rehman, son of Ghani ur Rehman, represented PK-42 Hangu-I in the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2008 to 2013, as a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party (Sherpao) (PPP-S). During his tenure, he held key positions, including Chairman of the Standing Committee on Finance Department, and membership in the Standing Committees on Irrigation Department, and Home and Tribal Affairs Department.
