Liaqat Khattak, son of Hashtam Khattak, was an elected member of the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) from 2002 to 2008. He represented the constituency of PF-13 Nowshera-II and was affiliated with the Pakistan peoples Party Sherpao (PPP)(S).
