Mr. Mahmood Khan son of Muhammad Khan had been elected Member of KP Assembly in General Elections 2013 from the platform of PTI. He represented PK-84 Swat-V in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly from 2013 to 2018. During his tenure, he held various portfolios, including Minister for Sports, Culture, Tourism, and Museums, and Minister for Irrigation from 2014 to 2018. He also served as a committee member of the Standing Committee on Sports, Culture, Tourism, Museums, Archaeology, and Youth Affairs. In 2018, he became the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a position he held until January 2023, leading the province's government and making key decisions on development, education, and healthcare.
