Ms. Rehana Ismail, wife of Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, was first elected as member of parliament in the 2002 general elections on a reserved seat for women representing MMA. She also served from 2018 until the dissolution of the assembly in 2023, during which she remained one of the most active parliamentarians. Throughout her tenure, she consistently raised critical issues and provided vital representation for government servants and the general public on the assembly floor. In the 2024 general elections, she was elected to parliament for the third time on a reserved seat for JUI-F. Currently, she stands as one of the most senior and active parliamentarians among her peers.
