Sher Afghan Khan, son of Abdul Rahim Khan, represented PK-26 Mardan-IV in the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2008 to 2013, as a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP). During his tenure, he actively contributed to various standing committees, including the Standing Committee on Judicial, Standing Committee on Excise and Taxation, and Standing Committee on Local Government and Rural Development.
