This Assembly resolves under sub rule (1) of rule 193 of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Procedure and Conduct of Business Rules, 1988, that the Speaker Provincial Assembly may be empowered to constitute Standing Committees without holding elections.

This Assembly further resolves that sub rule (2) of rule 154 and sub rule (2) of rule 193 may be suspended under rule 240 and the Speaker may also be empowered to appoint chairmen to the Standing Committees as so constituted by him.

This Assembly also resolves that the Speaker may further be empowered to make changes in composition of Standing Committees in future as and when necessary.
